A scarce original Second World War period 'John Dickinson & Company Limited ARP badge'; gilt metal blue enamel title circlet, the voided centre bearing the 'Lion Brand' red enamel company logo. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no enamel loss but with dark patches to underglaze. Diameter 26mm. John Dickinson & Co Ltd, paper makers founded in 1804 and based in Hertfordshire, established paper mills at Apsley, Nash and Croxley.
