Victoria Infirmary Glasgow 1929 hallmarked silver nurses hospital badge

A scarce original circa 1929 early issue 'Victoria Infirmary Glasgow silver and enamel badge', the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1929 and maker's details 'J.R.& W.L.' (J R & W Laing Gordon Street, Glasgow Scotland) and inscribed 'Kate M.Chivers'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no chips to the enamel, but with a number of surface scratches and service wear. Diameter 31mm.
