WW1 National Reserve Essex home front badge

A scarce original First World War period 'Essex National Reserve pin badge' gilt brass Crowned circlet, the voided centre bearing shield with three seaxes, the reverse with original pin fittings. Very good condition, gilt finish remains bright. Height 35mm.
