A good original circa 1933 'Have You Ever Been Lonely, Have You Ever Been Blue, gilt and enamel advertising song badge', depicting a flapper with powder compact, wearing a blue skimpy dress, within a horseshoe title surround; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.Miller 118 Branston St B'Ham Regd 783890'. Good condition, complete with original coiled pin fitting and hooked catch, some underglaze dark marks to blue enamel dress, gilt finish remains bright. Height 29mm. 'Have You Ever Been Lonely' (Have You Ever Been Blue) a popular song with words by George Brown and music by Peter De Rose Copyright 1933, by Shapiro Bernstein & Co.
