WW2 Midland Regional Association of ARP Instructors badge

A scarce original circa Second World War period 'Midland Regional Association air raid precautions home front badge'; large nickel plated example inland with blue enamel, the centre displaying a King's Crown with superimposed Mural Crown from the 'Birmingham Coat of Arms' and the initials 'A.R.P', with additional scroll below 'INSTRUCTORS'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'ham 18'. Very good condition, complete with original buttohole lapel fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 30mm.
