RAF No 1 Parachute Training School Royal Air Force badge c1940s

A scarce original George VI period 'RAF No 1 Parachute Training School badge' with embossed parachute canopy to the centre and motto 'Knowledge dispels fear' the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller B'Ham.18'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, actual pin a replacement, no damage to the enamel, minor blemish below crown, gilt finish remains bright. Height 33mm.
