Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet & Scabbard, Kokura Arsenal

Original era manufacture.Early production bayonet with a hooked guard, rounded bird head pommel, contoured wooden grips and bright finished blade with fullers. Clean, dent-free, blue steel scabbard. The blade is bright with clear markings, showing evidence of old cleaned corrosion along it's length. Mix of blue and steel patina finish to the guard and pommel.
