British Red Cross Society Yorkshire East Riding Hon Vice President medal

A scarce original circa 1940's period 'British Red Cross Society Vice-President and Honorary Vice-President badge'; crowned oval gilt metal example bearing red cross on white enamel ground within title surround; mounted on a maroon watered silk ribbon with one star denoting rank and suspended from a white enamel 'YORKSHIRE EAST RIDING' bar. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the the enamel. Height 83mm. Please Note: Rank as per British Red Cross Society & VAD Official Dress Regulations April 1940.
