A very scarce orginal circa 1979 period 'Fazakerley Hospital School of Midwifery badge', the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1979 and maker's details 'V&S' (Vaughton & Sons) inscribed with recipient's details. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Diameter 29mm.
