WVS Civil Defence womens voluntary services cloth badge

A scarce original post 1953 Cold War period WVS Civil Defence badge, red embroidered lettering and displaying a Queen's Crown on woven cotton backing. Very good condition. Height 70mm. Women's Voluntary Service became Royal in 1966.
