1899 Gatwick Racecourse horse racing club badge

A very rare original Victorian '1899 Gatwick Racecourse gentlemen's badge'; this striking looking ornate gilt and enamel example in near mint condition; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Bowman Limited 68 & 70 Goswell R London' and official issue number '739'. Very good condition, complete with original suspension ring no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, cord now ABSENT.
