A scarce original Second World War period 'British Red Cross Society & Order of St John penny a week fundraising home front pin badge'; small gilt and enamel example bearing the joint war organisation symbol in red, white, blue and black enamel. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. An excellent example. Height 21mm.
