The Boys Brigade standard buttonhole badge circa 1927 to 1933

A scarce original short lived 1927 to 1933 'Boys Brigade Standard Buttonhole lapel badge'; small circular silver plated example, inlaid with blue enamel, bearing 'Sure & Stedfast' fouled anchor with red cross and flanked by 'BB', the reverse retaining original horseshoe style buttonhole fitting. Very good condition, no damage to the enamel, minor surface scratches, retaining a good percentage of its silver plated finish. Diameter 18mm.
