Boy Scouts Engineer proficiency khaki felt cloth badge circa 1909

A rare original circa 1909 issue 'Boy Scouts Engineer proficiency badge' red embroidered wheel and wings on khaki felt circular backing, the reverse with black herringbone cotton lining. Good used condition, colours remain bright, evidence of having been removed from uniform. Diameter approx 36mm.
