Victory and Peace Celebrations 1919 Australia medal

A good original 1919 First World War peace celebrations silver plated medal, the obverse depicting a allegorical figure of Peace with figures symbolic of captivity and freedom below, inscribed 'Peace 1919 Australia'; the reverse with armed Sailor and Soldier inscribed 'Victory' 'The Triumph of LIBERTY and Justice', both sides with maker's initial 'S.S.&Co'. Good condition, complete with suspension rings with patriotic red white and blue cotton ribbon, minor wear to plating right rim Diameter approx 27mm.
