Doodles the Clown Blackpool Tower Circus character badge c1930's

A scarce original circa 1930's 'Doodles the Clown figural character gilt and enamel promotional badge' wearing his unique large top hat and bow tie, black tail coat and black trousers; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Miller 118 Branston St B'Ham' 'Regd 729758' a Registered Design and Patent date of 1927 and a makers mark used between 1931-1934.'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, minor surface scatches. Height 34mm.
