New Forest Beagles hunt badge 1939 to 1940

A very scarce original wartime period 1939 to 1940 season 'New Forest Beagles hunt pin badge' gilt brass and enamel example depicting the Hampshire dog gauge bearing a 'B' within, crowned 'New Forest' scrolls with date below; the reverse impressed with unusual maker's details 'Usher. Vittorias B'Ham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Height 22mm.
