Railway Convalescent Homes pin badge issued 1954 to 1964

A good original circa 1954 to 1958 period issue 'Railway Convalescent Homes scarce ladies issue pin badge', gilded brass example, the centre displaying the white horse of Kent within title surround, encircled by eight highly enamelled shields representing the counties where the homes were based, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham 18'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. An excellent example. Height 26mm.
