British Victorian, Enlisted Helmet Plate, (Queen's Own) West Surrey Regiment

Original era manufacture. Multi-piece construction badge, representing the second most senior line regiment in the British Army, behind the Royal Scots. Stamped brass helmet plate with a silver alloy lamb and flag at center. Three mounting loops on the reverse, nice old brass patina finish. Measures 4 x 5 inches.
