Sandeman Port Wine THE DON character figure logo advertising badge

A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Sandeman logo promotional pin badge' gilt rectangular example the voided centre bearing an enamel silhouette of 'The Dom' a dramatic figure of a Spanish gentlemen wearing a black cloak and hat and inscribed 'THE SANDEMAN'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Height 30mm.
