1898 South African Republic 1 penny Kruger coin POW artwork fob badge

A scarce original Boer War period prisioners of war better than average artwork souvenir, made and sold in the overseas camps, in the form of a 1898 South Africa Republic one penny Kruger bronze coin, cleverly enhanced with applied white metal, to portray President Kruger wearing a top hat and smoking a pipe, with additional ornate ring attachment, to be worn as a very distinctive watch fob. Diameter 31mm. Height 44mm.
