US WWII M1 Fixed Bale Navy Used Helmet & Liner, Lot 400A

Original era manufacture. Fixed bale, reflective edge steel helmet with original sewn light OD chinstraps with non-magnetic fittings. Original OD finish on the interior, with a ship applied dark blue paint finish on the exterior. Honest age and wear to the surface, no dents or cracks. Worn OD paint finish on the high pressure liner, CAPAC marked interior, with light OD webbing. Complete liner and sweatband, with dryness and shrinkage on the leather portion of the sweatband. Post WWII unbroken leather liner chinstrap with blackened metal buckle and fittings.
