Eldorado Cycle and Motor Club badge by Joseph Daffern & Co Hatton Garden London

A rare original 'Eldorado Cycle and Motor Cycle Club badge' a London based club, operation around the circa 1910 period; ornate gilt and enamel circular example, bearing blue enamel title surround, the centre with two embossed crossed shields, one bearing the England Lions; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.Daffern & Co' (Joseph Daffern & Co Hatton Garden, London registered May 1909). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, minor service wear. Diameter 29mm. 'Eldorado Cycle and Motor Club' mentioned in the '1910 The Motor Cycle' Index.
