German Imperial Era, Officers Shoulder Boards, IR 97, Leutnant, Pair

Original era manufacture. A very clean pair of overcoat sized shoulder boards for an Infantry Leutnant of the 97th regiment, 1. Oberrheinisches Infanterie-Regt. Nr.97(Saarburg) XXI Armee Korps, a regiment raised in 1813. Very clean condition. Boards measure 5.25 inches in length, with black wool attaching tongues.
