Royal Air Force Police miniature lapel badge circa 1950's

A scarce original early post 1953 period 'Royal Air Force Police miniature gilt and enamel lapel badge', depicting a griffin and Latin motto 'Fiat justitia' (Let justice be done), the reverse impressed with maker's details 'L.Simpson (London) Ltd'. Very good condition, complete with original horseshoe buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. Height 25mm.
