WW1 Bowley Preece & Co Ltd Birmingham 1915 on war service badge

A good original First World War period 'Bowley Preece & Co Ltd Birmingham ' gilt and enamel war worker's badge, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'C.Usher B'Ham'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fitting, no damage to the enamel. Height 30mm. On the 2nd December 1915 'Bowley Preece & Co Ltd 242 Broad St. Birmingham' placed an advertisement in the 'Birmingham Mail' for a job available, describing themselves as: 'CABINET MAKERS and Carrera for Saddle Bar Brassing; good wages; Government work'.
