Royal Canadian Air Force silver and enamel RCAF maple leaf pin badge

A scarce original Second World War period 'Royal Canadian Air Force brooch', Crowned 'Per Ardua ad Astra' enamelled crest with eagle spread across the the centre, resting on a title scroll and applied to a maple leaf, the reverse impressed 'Sterling'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel with slight flaws. Width 28mm.
