A scarce original first pattern example 'Chartered Society of Medical Masseurs & Gymnasts bronze and enamel convex badge', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Barnard 21,Heddon St.W' 'Rd No.683716' Registration and design date of 1921 and impressed with official issue number '2308'. Very good condition, complete original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 42mm. Forerunner to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy formed in 1943.
