Peace Celebrations 1919 Britannia battleship monoplane medal

A scarce original end of war perfect example of a gilt metal medal 'To Commemorate Peace 1919' depicting an victorious allegorical figure of a Britannia standing with outstretched right arm pointing a sword over a 'Royal Navy Battleship' and a 'Royal Flying Corps' aircraft, the reverse impressed in relief 'Rd 667093' a registration, design and patent number for 1919. Very good condition, complete with original laurel leaf suspension bar with pin fitting. An exceptional example. Height 41mm.
