National Union of General Workers NUGW trade union badge c.1916 to 1924

A good original circa 1916 to 1924 early period 'National Union of General Workers trade union badge'; large brass shield, inlaid with red enamel, blue enamel title surround the centre displaying a triangle inscribed 'Love Unity Fidelity'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Caville Mayes Rd Wood Green London'. Very good condition, complete with original slider fittings, no damage to the enamel but with surface scratches. Height of front 29mm.
