Air Envoy pilot's wing British airline badge circa 1968

A very scarce original 1968 to 1970 only 'Air Envoy pilot's wing badge' gilt example, styled on the US Army Air Corps pattern wings and bearing a quartered red enamel shield to the centre and initials 'A' 'E' to opposite corners. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright. Width 64mm. 'Air Envoy' was formed in 1968 at Birmingham Airport. The company name was changed to Central Air Services in 1970.
