A scarce original circa 1935 to 1948 only 'Brighton Municipal Hospital, East Sussex nurses qualification badge'; small gilded circular example, blue enamel title surround, the centre bearing Brighton Borough Arms on an embossed blue and white enamel shield, with motto 'In Deo Fidemus' (We trust in God), the reverse impressed with maker's detais 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St. Birmingham' and inscribed to the recipient 'Dorothy Agnes Hawkins February 1948'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, no damage to the enamel. Diameter 26mm.
