Primrose League Ward Secretary's Badge

A scarce original early backmarked 'Primrose League Ward secretary's gilt and enamel badge', the reverse with maker's details 'W.O.Lewis Birmm' and 'Rd 29381' a Registered Design and Patent date of 1885. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 47mm. The 'Primrose League Ward Secretary's Badge' was intended for the Hon. Secretaries of Wards, or Districts in large Habitations, who work under the Honorary Secretary of the Habitation.
