Northern Ireland Federation of Womens Institutes WI badge

A scarce original circa 1940's 'Northern Ireland W.I. badge', gilded brass example inlaid with blue and white enamel depicting a five bar gate, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 19mm. Width 31mm. The first WI was established in Garvagh County Londonderry Northern Ireland in 1932.
