Queens Institute of District Nursing silver bullion cloth hat badge

A good original circa 1950's 'Queen's Institute of District Nursing hat badge', large oval black felt example displaying the 'Queen Victoria Imperial Cypher' in embroidered silver wire bullion, the reverse with black cotton lining. Good condition, bullion with minor dulling. Height approx 60mm. Became the 'Queen’s Institute of District Nursing' in 1928 and the 'Queen’s Nursing Institute' in 1973.
