A good original circa 1956 period fine quality 'National Union of Mineworkers Yorks Area long membership silver gilt and enamel badge' in the form of a shield, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1956 and maker's details 'AES'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole fittings, enamel perfect. Height 30mm.
