Primrose League Maltese Cross badge in W.O.Lewis presentation case

A very scarce original Victorian period 'Primrose League badge', unmarked gilded metal example in the form of a 'Maltese Cross' inlaid with electric blue enamelling, with small yellow enamel primrose to the centre. Housed in its original velvet lined fitted leather case with maker's details to the lid 'W.O.Lewis Jewellers Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect. Height 41mm.
