A scarce original Great War period 'Voluntary War Service Y.M.C.A. Munitions Canteens badge'; silver plated circular example the centre bearing the 'Young Men's Christian Association' symbol an inverted red triangle with 'Y.M.C.A' title inlaid with black enamel, set upon white enamel ground, the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Bolton. Very good condition, retaining original pin fitting, no damage to the enamel. Diameter 27mm.
