A scarce original early issue 'British Red Cross Society First Aid sleeve badge'; large gilt brass enamel example, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R.Gaunt London' and official issue number '394'. Very good condition, complete with original two loop fittings and retaining pin, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright, minor manufacturers flaw to reverse. Height 38mm.
