A good original circa 1904 -1936 'Colchester Women Worker's League political badge'; gilded brass example in the form of a 'Canterbury Cross' inlaid with blue and white enamel, Union flag to the centre within title surround, mounted on a slender bar inscribed '1904 1936'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ld B'Ham' with inscription 'For Long and Active Service To The Rowhedge Branch'. Very good condition, enamel intact. Height 25mm.
