The Girls Brigade in Ireland bronze medal by Hopkins & Hopkins Dublin

A very scarce original circa 1920's period 'The Girls Brigade Ireland medal' in the form of a bronze 'Vector Celtic Cross' inscribed 'Onward & Upward' 'The Girls Brigade'; the reverse impressed with Dublin maker's details 'H&H' (Hopkins & Hopkins). Very good condition, complete with additional green silk ribbon. Size 30 x 30mm. The Girls Brigade in Ireland received official approval in 1908.
