A rare original post-war circa 1949 - 1951 period 'Royal Norwegian Air Force No 336 Squadron badge'; fine quality silver plated translucent enamelled example depicting a swallow in flight and motto 'Samhold Og Styrke'. Very good condition, complete with single screw post fitting and nut, enamel perfect. Height 30mm. Royal Norwegian Air Force No 336 SKV DET KONGELIGE NORSKE FLYVAPEN squadron was formed at Gardermoen Norway in 1949. From 1952 the squadron went back to the two-letter marking '336 PX'
