Industrial Transport Association pre-war union badge

A scarce original pre-war period 'Industrial Transport Association member's badge'; small ornate gilded brass example, depicting the 'ITA' shield logo between two Globes, inlaid with red,white and blue enamel; the reverse impressed with registration numbers 'REG No 742864' a design and patent year of late 1928 early 1929. Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole lapel fitting, enamel intact, gilt finish remains bright. Height 21mm. 'Industrial Transport Association' founded in 1927.
