Metropolitan-Vickers LSA 1923 long service association badge

A scarce original circa 1923 'Metropolitan-Vickers lapel badge'; small gilded brass hexagon shaped example, bearing the distinctive 'MV' company logo in black enamel on white enamel ground, the blue enamel surround inscribed 'L.S.A 1923'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, enamel perfect, one minor scratch to surface. Height 16mm. On April 16 1923 Metropolitan-Vickers formed the 'Long Service Association' electing 'A.Walmsley' as Chairman.
