Austrian Imperial Era, Straight Legged Trousers, Red Piped

Original period manufacture. Darker blue straight legged trousers in a gabardine wool material. Thin red wool piping down the outer seam of each leg. Waistband measures 36 inches, inseam 32 inches. Two front pockets & watch pocket, no hip pockets with a half belt. Full complement of buttons, two of which are replacements. The remainder are of blue finished steel, displaying the name K.WEISS, NEUBERG a/d D. Rather tattered silk tailor's label in the back of the waistband as shown. These formed part of our recent costume house purchase, and the trousers displaying loose threads on the side seams and seat from applied Hussar trim. These threads are easily removed with the fingers. No moth issues.
