1903 1904 Oxford & Cambridge University boat race winners medals

A superb and rare pair of winners silver medals for 1903 and 1904 world famous Oxford & Cambridge annual boat race held on the River Thames. These medals recording Cambridge University wins and recording the crews. Both contained in their original ebonized fitted velvet lined presentation cases, each with a Birmingham hallmarked shield sewn to the inside lid listing the crew and their colleges; who they were presented to is unknown, but two names are repeated on both 'P H Thomas' and 'Cox B G A Scott' so that narrows it down.
