1958 British Empire & Commonwealth Games Cardiff badge

A very scarce original '1958 British Empire & Commonwealth Games Cardiff, England team badge'; large gilt and enamel example in the form of a shield, inlaid with white enamel and bearing the blue 'BE & CG' logo to the centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Pinches London'.Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect. Height 33mm. The 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games were held in Cardiff, Wales from 18–26 July 1958.
