Belgrave Harriers London athletic club membership badge c1920s

A scarce original circa pre-1928 'Belgrave Harriers lapel badge'; large gilded brass circular example with oak leaf surround, the centre displaying a portcullis from the 'Westminster City Coat of Arms' surmounted by crossed keys 'BH' and '1887' between the cross; the reverse with early maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Hockley St Birmingham Ltd' (1919-1928) and 'Rd 632818' a design and patent year of 1914. Very good condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, minimal wear to gilt finish. Height 29mm.
