A scarce Boer War celluloid tin button badge with clear photograph of 'General Sir George Stewart White' in Army uniform, the reverse with original paper backing with maker's details 'Typographical Union Label' 'The Whitehead & Hoag Co. Newark, N.J. Patented July 17, 1894. April 14, 1896. July 21.1896.' Very good clean condition, complete with pin fitting, minimal rust and foxing. Diameter 21mm.
