WW1 Army Ordnance Corps silk embroidered military postcard

A good exceptionally clean First World War period 'Army Ordnance Corps silk postcard'; hand embroidered crossed 'Union Flag' and 'Red Ensign' held with forget-me-nots flowers, the badge of the regiment bearing the 'Board of Ordnance' shield in red, yellow, blue and green silk, with scroll below 'A.O.C' and thistle, the reverse inscribed 'Fabrication Francaise'. Very good condition, colours remain bright, no sign of any foxing, an excellent example. Height 140mm. Width 89mm.
